Three British Composers
The three British composers featured on this recording were all leading musicians of their generation – Howard Ferguson, born in Belfast, Kenneth Leighton, from Yorkshire and for much of his life based in Edinburgh, and William Mathias, a Welsh musician of international stature. Above all their distinctive voices display both appeal and communicability.
